This course provides students with the essential skills to understand, analyze, and produce academic and scientific texts in English. It is divided into two key components: Academic Writing and Analyzing Scientific Papers. The first part introduces the conventions of academic writing, emphasizing paragraph structure, cohesion, formal style, and the stages of the writing process. The second part develops students' ability to critically read and interpret scientific articles—particularly those structured according to the IMRAD model—while practicing summarization, vocabulary use, and scientific expression in writing.
